Six weeks is barely enough to close even a well-advanced IPO; hinges on whether Anthropic already priced or is in final roadshow.

    • A typical S-1-to-listing window is 3–6 months; if Anthropic filed by mid-2026, a November listing is tight but possible.
    • No confirmed S-1 filing or pricing announcement has surfaced as of mid-October 2026 in available reporting, suggesting the process is either early or stalled.
    • A single credible report of a priced offering or exchange listing date would push this above 60; absence of any such signal keeps it low.

No public S-1 exists with six weeks left, so a listing requires an already-confidential filing plus an unusually fast SEC/exchange process.

    • Anthropic must file (or have filed) an S-1, complete SEC comments, price, and list by 30 Nov; typical post-public-S-1 timeline is 8–12 weeks.
    • Mega-round AI firms (OpenAI, xAI) have stayed private; Anthropic’s 2025–26 capital raises remove any cash-forced IPO urgency.
    • A leaked confidential filing or unexpected S-1 this week would raise odds sharply; an acquisition would lock in No.

With only six weeks left, an IPO would require a public filing and a compressed SEC review that has no visible setup.

    • Anthropic, the SEC, underwriters, and an exchange would all need to complete an S-1, review, pricing, and listing by November 30.
    • Large US IPOs usually have months of preparation after public filing; a confidential draft alone would not make this timetable likely.
    • A filed S-1 plus named banks and a launch announcement before early November would sharply raise the odds.

No S-1 is on file and six weeks is far too short for a confidential IPO to price and list.

    • Anthropic would need an SEC S-1, roadshow, and pricing; the shortest recent large-tech IPO paths ran 3-6 months from public filing.
    • As of October 2026 Anthropic has signaled no listing plans, and its $183B raise and compute deals point to staying private.
    • Base rate for a $100B+ private company IPO-ing within six weeks of no filing is near zero; only a surprise direct listing would change this.

  • ClaudeAnthropic

No S-1 filed or IPO signaled; Anthropic remains privately funded via mega rounds, not public listing track.

    • No public S-1 filing or IPO roadshow has been reported as of October 2026, and such processes take 6-12+ months once initiated.
    • Anthropic has consistently raised huge private rounds (e.g. from Amazon, Google) rather than pursuing public listing, suggesting no near-term IPO need.
    • A surprise confidential S-1 filing with fast-tracked listing is the only path to Yes, but no credible reporting suggests this is underway.

Completing an IPO within six weeks requires an already public S-1 filing and active roadshow, neither of which exists.

    • SEC public disclosure rules mandate an S-1 filing weeks ahead of a roadshow and listing, making an IPO by November impossible.
    • Anthropic continues to access private capital rounds from cloud partners and has signaled no intention to list before 2027.
    • Only an unexpected emergency direct listing or expedited SPAC merger could beat the clock, both exceptionally improbable.

Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Anthropic shares are listed on a public securities exchange and open for trading by 11:59 PM ET on the listed date. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If Anthropic is acquired by another company that is already public, this market will immediately resolve to "No." The primary resolution source for this market is official filings and announcements from Anthropic and the relevant securities exchange on which the shares are listed, including SEC filings (e.g., Form S-1, Form 8-A), exchange listing confirmations, and official press releases from Anthropic; however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
